…In this world, every woman in one way or the other has contributed highly to the changes of the world. What a man can do, a woman does better. Therefore, if men are celebrated why shouldn’t women be celebrated too? Why shouldn’t women have equal opportunities as men?

In Nigeria today, research has shown that 50.8% of the population are women in Nigeria, but only 4% are lawmakers. In the North-east of Nigeria only 41% of eligible girls receive primary education, 47% in the North-east. 70% are experiencing multiple incidents of violence. Meanwhile, some of these women today are appreciated in other countries and seated in high offices.

Thank Goodness for our Today’s Global and African women; Michelle Obama, Aisha Yesufu, Uyaiedu Ikpe-Etim, Serena Williams, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Kamala Harris, DJ switch and other amazing women, who proved to us that we were born to be extraordinary persons, we shouldn’t settle for less and consider ourselves wearing dresses. We should consider ourselves equal with men and impact into the lives of others positively with our gifts.

The success of woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you are very courageous. Be strong, be extremely kind and above all be humble.

To women; who are aiming at their goals and still striving, learn from our female heroes and legends, make them your inspirations and role models, help and support your fellow women especially those facing discrimination, violence and threats, stand for the rights of others, be kind, humble and courageous, teach others what they never knew and what they need to know including yourself. Remember that everyday has its own success story and you will be among those sharing their success story, share your success story and take a moment to show appreciation to your fellow women in your daily life. Consider yourself the boss lady too. Like I say; “Be your own kind of Boss”

To men, keep the Ego and show love, support every woman positively and appreciate them, seek for what’s right, encourage gender equality among women and men, learn and Include a woman in all spheres of life, stop domestic violence and rape, protect them and stop discrimination.
